The Pampers Baby Dry diapers were a godsend for our family. Prior to the introduction of using Baby Dry diapers my husband and I tried several other brands including: Huggies, Wal-Mart brand and even the Pampers Swaddlers diaper style. The Pampers Swaddlers did leak less often in the night than the other two brands, but even those did not reduce the feeling of moisture against our baby’s skin and she would still wake up in the night just wanting a diaper change, when she wasn’t even hungry.

We tried the Baby Dry diapers for the first time shortly before I was to return to work from my maternity leave and the change was nearly immediate. Our daughter, who was about three months old at the time, began to sleep for at least 8 hours a night on a regular basis. And, it lasted for as long as we stuck with those diapers. We were given other brands by relatives a couple of times after using the Baby Dry diapers for several boxes and, almost predictably, she would return to having leaks or simply waking in the night due to the wetness against her skin.

For us, Pampers Baby Dry diapers meant a final respite from months of newborn induced sleep deprivation. I do also recommend coupling the use of Pampers Baby Dry diapers with a very regular bedtime routine. In our case, we would do a bath first, sometimes rubbing our baby with lotion before putting her in a new diaper and fresh PJs. She’d get a nice warm bottle and we’d rock her to sleep while she was drinking it, sometimes playing a little light music in the background. She wouldn’t even wake up when we burped her, it worked so well. As long as we grouped this routine with the Baby Dry diapers we were able to get a decent amount of sleep before she would awaken with a cry for her next feeding.

I highly recommend these diapers to every new mom – in fact, I’m pretty sure it’ll be the first gift I buy for the next baby shower I’m invited to. They performed that greatly for us!
