Pampers, Huggies, and Luvs, Oh My! The requirement for all babies, diapers. When you are a new mom, you want the best for you new bundle of joy. This may even include the top brands for the best quality. Well, regardless of the amount of money one would want to spend to protect their baby’s derriere, it should all depend on what your baby tolerates. You would not want to continually use a diaper, in spite of cost, if your child is not getting the best benefit. This includes leakage protection, possible breakouts, diaper rash, etc. Some are lucky to be able to put any type of diaper on their child and have it make no difference; however, what is your most economical choice? Although cloth diapers would save some money on the purchase of disposable diapers, it does not eliminate added cost elsewhere. Imagine doing laundry on a daily basis just to have clean diapers. It would be difficult to even leave the house, how would one take care of a dirty diaper in a public restroom? It is not very sanitary to put it in the diaper bag and contaminate what is in there, let alone walking out and asking for a plastic bag to carry it around with you until you get home. It is no longer convenient. Diaper services are expensive and you may not always be available for their pick up or delivery times.

In my opinion, keep trying until you find what works for not only your baby, but for your pocketbook as well. There are many brands out there that are just as reliable as the advertised brand, why not give them the opportunity of the doubt. You may thank yourself in the end. I know that when my son was in the hospital, their preferred brand was Pampers. When I got him home, and after reviewing the costs to maintain them, it was not feasible. Taking second best doesn’t mean that you are not providing quality, it means that you are able to use the extra change you save on something else that you can spend on your new little one!

It will not matter what people say, you are going to go with what works best for you. If need be, shop with coupons or search for them on sale. You will be amazed on what resources are out there. Many websites offer coupon vouchers toward the purchase of their product. Take advantage of that. That keeps more money in your pocket and a smile on your face.
